The first Holywood
Festival takes place on April 12th and 13
th 2013 at various venues in Holywood, County Down. Bap Kennedy, internationally acclaimed artist and local boy, is headlining the first night of the festival with his band, in a rare appearance in his home town.

Already this year Bap has toured America and Italy following his sellout show at the Belfast Empire. With his international touring schedule, (including special guest appearances in Scandinavia and Europe with Mark Knopfler and John Prine) this is a unique opportunity to catch Bap in concert!
Bap and Band will be appearing on April 12th at the Main Room (Big Hall, opposite The Dirty Duck, Kinnegar, Holywood)

We are delighted to announce that Bap Kennedy is to open for
John Prine in Scandinavia at 2 shows :
2nd March in Oslo and 4th March in Stockholm.
Bap has also been confirmed to play at Kongsvinger, Norway on Sunday 3rd March.
The town of Kongsvinger is approx 90 km outside Oslo. Tickets are available from haericm@online.no.
Mon, 31 Dec 2012 - LATEST - USA release of The Sailor's Revenge
Bap Kennedy's album "The Sailor's Revenge" (Deluxe) has been released in America on 8 January 2013 by Proper American. Bap celebrated the release with a tour of the US East coast, bringing him to Washingon, Philapelphia, New York and Boston in January. Further US & European dates are planned for later in the year, including a return to Italy as well as Scandinavian dates, where he will be opening for John Prine.
The Sailor's Revenge was named one of MOJO Magazine's Top 10 Americana albums of 2012. No Depression reviewer Alan Harrison named it the No. 1 Americana album of the year, calling it "truly a masterpiece from a man who is finally comfortable with his place in the world"

Bap Kennedy's album "The Sailor's Revenge" (produced by & featuring Mark Knopfler) has been listed in Mojo magazine within the Top 10 Americana albums of the year.
Bap's USA record label, Proper American are currently planning to issue a deluxe version of the album wiith 11 retrospective bonus tracks.

Bap's performance with his full band was organised by Braid Real Music Club. It was their best attended event of the year.
